Fresh Brewed Features is the weekly product update segment by Versori. Each week, Versori’s COO, Will Jackson, and Versori’s Head of Product, Andy Butler, sit down to give a brief overview of the latest updates that have shipped on the embedded integration platform. we’re now documenting these updates in a weekly write-up, providing a quick reference to complement each episode.
Episode 3, Friday 29th November, the following product updates have successfully shipped…
This week:
📈 Improved GraphQL connector functionality for better API connectivity- To further enhance our support for GraphQL we’ve updated the capability within the Platform. So now, users can simply paste in the URL to the API - allowing for introspection - and then build the queries to be used by the Connector in the integration. If a query is found to be incomplete, no problem, update the definition for the action and the Connector used in the Integration will represent any of those new changes. This makes working with GraphQL connectors flexible and extensible.
🔌 Redesigned Connector UX for seamless integration deployment- We wanted to re-design and improve the UX of using a Connector in an Integration. We distilled the UX down into three key steps; selecting an operation, connecting to an operation and configuring the operation, and built the UX around this. By introducing a step through UX, it allows the user to focus on individual tasks one at a time, reducing the decision making at each step. We stripped back the design, hiding away information that at first glance is not always necessary and removed the requirement of the user choosing what type of connection is needed. Now, creating and updating a connection is as simple as ever. We think all in all, this ultimately simplifies the process, allowing users to seamlessly connect and configure. We’d love to hear your feedback on this one!
📘Enhanced Open API Spec Library - now featuring 1,000 specs that can be filtered by vertical or trending topics. Users can request specific specs they need or submit their own, which our internal development team will review and validate before adding them to the library.
These updates reinforce Versori's position as a leading provider of scalable integrations and custom integration solutions.
